What We Rescue
Gridline Rescue focuses on genuine original motorsport and automotive promotional display materials from UK businesses, venues and events.
Launch focus: At launch, Gridline Rescue is only accepting motorsport and automotive promotional material. We are not currently collecting general retail or display items unless they carry a clear motorsport, racing or automotive connection.
Material We Can Collect
The following categories cover the types of original promotional display materials Gridline Rescue is set up to collect and preserve.
Motorsport posters
Printed promotional posters from motorsport campaigns, typically displayed in retail or forecourt settings.
Petrol station display boards
Freestanding or wall-mounted display boards from petrol station forecourts.
Forecourt promotional materials
A range of display items designed for outdoor or covered forecourt environments.
Retail point-of-sale displays
Counter displays, shelf units and promotional stands from retail settings.
Cardboard standees
Freestanding cardboard display figures and structures used in promotions.
Window graphics
Printed window clings, decals and graphics from retail or venue locations.
Hanging banners
Pull-up, hanging or suspended banners used in promotional contexts.
Event signage
Printed or constructed signage from events and exhibitions with motorsport themes.
Racing game promotional displays
Display materials associated with motorsport video games and racing simulations.
Automotive campaign materials
Promotional display items from automotive brands with a clear racing or motorsport connection.
What We Cannot Accept
To protect all parties involved, the following fall outside what Gridline Rescue can collect.
Counterfeit or replica items
Scanned or reprinted posters
Items the donor is not authorised to transfer
Materials that must be returned to a supplier, promoter, agency, brand owner or rights holder
Items that must be destroyed under campaign instructions
Items from active campaigns still in use
Unsafe, contaminated or heavily damaged materials
Items containing personal data
Non-motorsport material during the launch phase
